I got my oil change done and was told by the Service Advisor that the Stabilizer End Links were bad and need replacement and if done that a wheel alignment is recommended because the replacement would throw off the wheel alignment. I stated that I would let them know at a later time. I shortly did research by speaking with two separate service advisors from two different GMC dealerships. They all informed me that a wheel alignment is not needed or recommended because it has nothing to do with the alignment of the wheels. I have been a returning customer at Lester Glenn in Toms River and have trusted them with their experience and my vehicle. I am sorry to say that I no longer feel that way.

Nobody kept in contact to let us know what was going on. Vehicle was there for over a month with no offering of a loaner car. I then finally get the truck back and the interior is full of grease. They also destroyed the rubber pad on the running board.

Person I usually have was gone. Attendant in garage said my person was at first desk. I went in and no one was there. I sat in waiting room and no one ever came to talk to me. Big change in usual service. I've always been taken care of and happy, but different this time. It was as if someone else was running service dept.

Our car went in for service on June 10, 2025. Part had to be ordered Blower Motor Control Module. Called us on June 12 , 2025 to pick up our car. Went to pick up car only to find out that the car still had the same problem and was never fix! We made 2 trips to the service department for us to be disappointed with the Service from Lester Glen. We live in Howell, NJ and to drive to Tom’s River is very far for us, we are Senior Citizens. We have brought many Buicks throughout our years. No compensation has been offered to us.

Dropped the car to get worked on. Took it for business trip to dc. The car ran worse than when I dropped off. Little over 1000 miles engine mount was bad has was this missed on service before truck still runs rough Mechinic says everything is good. Told them truck is screaming after brakes were replaced said they lubed no issues but still screaming. I would expect more from GM trained mechanics at a dealership.

With this certification, they are trained to work across any General Motors vehicle, including Buick! Our showroom also is certified to sell certified pre-owned Buick vehicles and can help complete any warranty repairs on your Buick vehicle that might be needed down the road. The only change is that we cannot sell new Buick vehicles any further. As far as your future service needs are concerned, nothing has changed. I do like the personnel and cleanliness of this facility. I was a bit concerned that I was the one to call in , after about 3 weeks after ordering, to find out if my key fob had arrived. They advised it was there. Why didn't I receive a call or even a text?? Also, I had arrived at 10:30 a.m. to have this programmed, and i sat for 2 hrs. When they advised it was done. I was requested to pay $499...I have insurance for this which I purchased when I bought the car..was wondering why no one knew this??? Then i was given a phone # to call to get a claim number so I didn't have to pay this charge. More time for me spent there. So I did..after claim # was received, i was handed my key fob. Wasn't one of the best experiences. We were to be celebrating my sis-in-laws birthday at 12:30, 1.5 hrs. away that day...obviously, we were very late! So there you have it. Suggestions..make appointments around the time the tech person will be there..not to wait for him to arrive..also, Dedicated service people should read your files so they're aware and can advise next steps, if any, on your part. AND cashiers should take 5 min. to read over your work orders so there's no "deer in the headlights" look when you ask a question about what was done. Just sayin'....thanks for listening!

The actual diagnostic and repair services went very well. I was very disappointed when I had paid for the repair. A 3% fee of more than $50.00 was added and the explanation that I was provided was this was a credit card processing charge. This is a critical detail that should have been provided ahead of time so that I may have had the choice to provide cash or a certified bank check to avoid this outrageous fee. There needs to be more transparency from Lester Glenn on this negatively impactful policy.

Worst experience for my 1st visit was told after 2 hour wait battery charge was critically low, would take at least another hour to charge. Wasn’t offered a ride a loaner car nothing after another hour was told a new battery was installed which should have been done in the 1st place on a new car nothing after another even a year old with only 600 miles so left after a long 3 hour wait. Hour and a half later received the service techs video when he says the battery needed to be charged so did I actually get a new battery?? Sorry but as a new customer who purchased 2 new Buicks envisions Nov and Dec 2024 expect better experience.

Over the past six months, I experienced ongoing issues with my front brakes. Jeanne and her team cut the rotors twice in an effort to resolve the problem, but as of last week, I was still dealing with sensor alerts and vibration. Jeanne then informed me that Lester Glenn GMC replaced both the front rotors and brake pads—even though these are normal wear items—because they understood the anomalies I had been experiencing. This was truly above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Exceptional support from start to finish, and sincere kudos to Jeanne and the entire team.
