The 2026 GMC Acadia has a turbocharged 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. For a large vehicle, it handles deftly and offers a smooth ride. If you opt for the AT4 trim, your new GMC SUV will truly be itching to get off the pavement. It comes with all-wheel drive, an off-road-tuned suspension, and hill descent control.
Towing and Cargo Space
When properly equipped, 2026 GMC Acadia can tow up to 5,000 lbs. You’ll also have plenty of room inside for whatever you need to travel with, as it features 23 cubic feet behind the third row, 57 cubic feet when it is down, and 97.5 cubic feet with both back rows folded.
Exterior Design and Interior Highlights
With its long wheelbase, wide stance, and tall height, the 2026 GMC Acadia has a powerful presence. Plus, its curved LED headlights give it a unique look from the front. Chrome accents are available, as are two new colors: Glacier White Tricoat and Riverstone Metallic.
Up to eight people can fit nicely inside the 2026 GMC Acadia. Standard comfort features include synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Ventilated front seats and heated second-row seats can be added.
Technology Features
The 2026 GMC Acadia has a fully digital dashboard consisting of an 11-inch gauge cluster and 15-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, which can also be operated with voice commands. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, satellite radio, and wireless device charging are all included.
