Performance Features
The GMC Acadia horsepower figure is the same across every trim: a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This turbo four is the standard and only engine, so buyers get identical output whether they choose the entry-level Elevation or the range-topping Denali Ultimate — there is no optional engine to consider. Power reaches the wheels through a responsive 8-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive available on most trims and standard on the AT4. An available Traction Select System adds another layer of capability, letting drivers switch between modes like Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul to match the road ahead.
