Big and powerful while still surprisingly agile, the GMC Acadia has always been a top-selling SUV. If you’re interested in the newest model that will be out soon, we have the scoop on what to expect!
2021 GMC Acadia Details
The base 2021 GMC Acadia will come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 193 horsepower. There is also a 3.6-liter V6 engine available that generates 310 horsepower, as well as a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit. All engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available.
Behind the wheel, this large 2021 GMC SUV handles very well, and when you opt for the V6 engine, you can go from zero to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.
Off-Road Capability
Are you looking for a vehicle that’s adept on and off the road? If so, the 2021 GMC Acadia has two trims to consider.
The AT4 model comes with a dual-clutch all-wheel drive system, along with the powerful V6 engine. For the best off-road experience, the Denali model is the clear choice, as it has shock absorbers that automatically adjust to road conditions along with adaptive suspension damping.
Tech and Safety
The 2021 GMC Acadia comes with many built-in tech features. These include five USB ports, an infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. You will also get Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration.
